Surgery!

Jericha had surgery yesterday. They removed her tonsils and adenoids and put tubes in her ears. She was a super trooper about it. I think I was more nervous that she was. Today is day two and she is eating and taking it easy. I had to remind her at lunch today that just because the doctor said she could have as many popsicles and she wants doesn't mean that she doesn't have to eat any real food!

The kids.....

Josiah went for his 2 month check up at the doctor on Thursday. He weighed 9lb 12oz! It's hard for me to believe that it has been two months already. He is starting to make cooing noises, push himself up while on his stomach, and bat at toys that are in front of him. Jericha and Isabelle are starting to adjust to the new addition and we are getting a routine down. I am very grateful to have Christine around to help. I couldn't imagine doing this by myself!

Jericha is still a little pistol. Who ever said terrible two's never had a three year old! We love her to death, but she definitely keeps us on our toes. She just loves to learn and is quick as a whip. Jericha got accepted into PEEPS for the fall at Arcadia school. I think this is going to be an awesome experience for her and she can't wait to start!

Isabelle is just finishing up fourth grade and is anticipating summer. She will be attending a couple of summer camps so she isn't stuck home with the "little kids" all summer. Isabelle has become quite the little diva. It is amazing how kids change over night. I remember my once worm pulling, dirt digging child now wants to wear gloves just to play with sidewalk chalk. Oh how time flies. Isabelle has been participating with Girls On The Run at school. They will be doing their big 5K run on Thursday May 26. She is really excited about it. I am glad that she has found a sport that she enjoys so much.
